WALKING

Would you trust your dog to a stranger?

Neither would I.

I can tell you many things to convince you that I am the walker that you need, but you don't have to take my word for granted!

That is why you are welcome to come to Clissold park, meet the pack, talk to me, see for yourself and compare to what others offer.

Fun, exercise, socialization.

Fun. While the puppies love to wrestle, or young fast dogs chase each other in circles, others prefer to relax laying on the grass chewing a stick. Each dog have their own idea of fun.

Exercise. One hour and a half in the park is the minimum exercise that your dog needs every day.

Socialisation. Dogs are social animals, they love to be among other dogs, follow the pack and feel part of it.

Dogs that have not been socialised are unbalanced. They don't know how to interact with their kind. Eventually they may develop either fear or aggression toward other members of their species.

And, if they are not socialised, they are missing an important part of their life. Everybody needs a friend!

What walks means to me

During the walk I believe dogs should be off the lead and in the company of other dogs.

I do not walk dogs that require to be on the lead at all times and I don't walk dogs that require to be walked alone. Neither do I take dogs that have serious behaviour issues, but I can help you with the training.

Of course, they are supervised at all time to ensure their safety and good behaviour. I keep them under control and make sure that they won't get in trouble, fight, nor bother people in the park.

Walks are one hour and a half long, in Clissold Park. Usually one hour in the park and about 30 min walking on the streets.

Dogs are taught recall, to stay around the pack and respect the others.

If you want me to walk your dog...

I pick up and drop home dogs by foot. That is why you have to live within 10 minutes or less walking from Clissold Park.

Before accepting any new dogs, I need to get to know them. Ideally I like to meet the dog and owners in Clissold Park when I am walking my pack, so I can see how the dogs get along.

If you are not available to open the door for me, I will need a copy of the keys.
